How We Scrape Grailed for You

You name the designers, departments, categories, sizes or keywords; we build the crawler, run it and keep it working when Grailed changes its pages. Grailed answers unfamiliar traffic with a block, so pacing, proxy rotation, CAPTCHA handling and browser rendering are part of what we run, not part of your job. To scrape Grailed completely, a designer or category is split by size, condition, color, seller location and price band, and the slices are merged on the Listing ID, which also keeps a row stable from one run to the next.

Runs are one-off or scheduled daily or weekly. Files arrive as CSV, JSON or JSONLines over SFTP or in Google Cloud Storage, or the rows go straight into your database, with documentation of every field. Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract.

Fields in Our Grailed Listings Data

Every Grailed listing lives at /listings/ followed by a numeric Listing ID and a slug, and the same ID is printed at the foot of the page beside the Posted and Bumped times. On top of size and condition, sellers can add measurements and a style tag, and each becomes a column.

  • Identity - Listing ID, URL, title, and the breadcrumb from designer through department to category and subcategory.
  • Designers - one designer or several: a collaboration is filed under both names, such as Dr. Martens and Rick Owens on the same boot.
  • Item - department (Menswear or Womenswear), size as printed, for example Men's US 28 / EU 44, color, a style tag such as Luxury, the seller description and photos.
  • Measurements - the seller's own figures taken with the garment laid flat, such as waist, inseam, leg opening, front rise and thigh, in inches with centimeters beside them.
  • Condition - New/Never Worn, Gently Used, Used, Very Worn or Not Specified.
  • Price - current asking price in USD, the original price struck through and the percentage off, plus whether the Purchase and Offer buttons are open.
  • Shipping - the price the seller set for each region: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Australia/NZ and Other.
  • Timing and interest - posted age, last bump and the favorites counter.
  • Seller signals - seller location, review and transaction counts, items for sale, and the Trusted Seller, Quick Responder and Speedy Shipper badges.

Usernames and avatars belong to private people and are left out by default; the counts and badges that describe a seller's record stay in the row.

Fields in Our Grailed Listings Data
Grailed Price History, Bumps and Shipping by Region

Grailed Price History, Bumps and Shipping by Region

One pass over Grailed is a snapshot; the price story appears only when the same listings are read again.

  • Price history from repeated runs - each run stores the asking price against the Listing ID, so successive cuts become a dated table instead of a single struck-through figure.
  • Bumps versus drops - a seller can bump a listing every 7 days during its first 30 days; after that a bump needs a cut of 10% or more. Grid cards show the time of the last activity, and many add the listing's age in brackets; we keep both, so a refreshed old listing is never mistaken for a new one.
  • Shipping by region - the regional shipping table turns a USD asking price into a delivered price for a buyer in Canada, Europe or Asia, the fair basis for comparing international demand.
  • Designer and search coverage - designer pages carry a listing count and related designers with their own counts; category and search pages filter by department, category, size, color, price, condition, seller location, Staff Pick and the Grails or Hype market, and sort by Most Relevant, Latest Activity, Newly Listed, Trending or price.
  • Seller feedback - dated feedback entries with the item they refer to and the comment; reviewer names are left out by default.
  • Exits - a Listing ID that leaves the public feed is recorded with its last asking price and the date it went.

About Grailed and Its Market Sections

Grailed is a marketplace for buying and selling menswear and womenswear, from rare archive pieces and new designer releases to vintage. Pieces come from the closets of individual sellers, and a listing stands for one item: a seller with several units is asked to list the next one after the first has sold. Grailed's help pages sort the stock into four market sections - Grails for coveted pieces from well-known luxury designers such as Saint Laurent, Raf Simons and Rick Owens, Hype for new streetwear releases and drops, Sartorial for high-end classic menswear and womenswear, and Core for mass-market brands and vintage - and its curation team can move an item between them.

The top navigation runs Designers, Menswear, Womenswear, Vintage, Sneakers, Staff Picks, Collections and Editorial, the home of Dry Clean Only, Grailed's articles on designers and drops. All purchases are made in USD only, whatever the buyer's country. Trust signals come in layers: a Grailed Verified card on a listing means its photos and description went through human or machine review, Purchase Protection covers qualifying orders, and seller badges reward response time, shipping speed and an accurate sales record. On a seller, the same Grailed Verified words mean a partner or affiliate of Grailed, and the dataset keeps the two meanings in separate columns.

What Grailed Prices Tell a Buyer of Data

Archive and runway pieces change hands between collectors on Grailed, so its asking prices answer questions retail data cannot.

  • Archive values - titles often carry the season, such as FW18 on a Rick Owens runner, so asking prices can be grouped by designer, season and item type to see which collections hold value years later.
  • Markdown pressure - original price, percentage off and the bump clock show how long a piece waits and how deep it is cut before it moves; the 10% rule for bumping older listings is why so many cuts land at or just above 10%.
  • Size and fit - sizes printed in US and EU systems plus seller measurements give fit data per designer for brands and resellers who buy by size.
  • International supply - the Seller Location filter (Asia, Europe, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia/NZ) and regional shipping prices show where a designer's stock sits and what it costs to bring it over.
  • Collaborations - two-designer listings separate collaboration pricing from mainline pricing.
  • Sourcing - resellers watch Newly Listed and Staff Pick items in Grails and Hype for underpriced pieces and fresh sneakers.

About ScrapeIt

ScrapeIt is a managed data extraction company. We design the crawl, run it, fix it when the site changes and hand over the rows with documentation. Resale platforms such as Grailed reward that care: IDs that stay stable while prices fall, sizes in two systems, listings that vanish without notice. A free project assessment comes first, a sample can be ordered before any commitment, and the schedule - daily, weekly or on demand - is yours. Usernames and similar personal details stay out by default, and GDPR governs the rest.

FAQ

Do you offer a Grailed API for listing data?

Yes. The ScrapeIt Grailed API serves Listing ID, designer, size, condition, current and original USD price and regional shipping prices as JSON from an endpoint we host, updated on the schedule you choose. The same rows are also available as CSV or JSONLines files, over SFTP or loaded into your database.

Is it legal to scrape Grailed?

Yes. Listing pages, designer pages and category grids show item, size, condition, price and seller badges to every visitor without an account. We collect only publicly available data - everything a visitor can see on Grailed - and we collect it legally. Usernames and avatars of private sellers stay out by default.

Are Grailed prices in USD on every listing?

Yes. Grailed states that all purchases are made in USD only, so the asking price on a listing is a dollar figure wherever the buyer lives. What changes by country is shipping: each listing carries the seller's price for each region, and we deliver those columns next to the USD price.

Can you get Grailed sold listings and sold prices?

Yes, as an option. Grailed opens its sold archive and the Price Comparison panel only to signed-in members, so sold listings and sold prices are collected on an account registered through Grailed's own sign-up form or on your account. The public layer adds the price path of every live listing and the day each Listing ID leaves the feed with its last asking price.

How often should we refresh Grailed price drops and listings?

Daily suits most price work. Bumps, new listings and price drops reorder the grid within hours, and each card's last-activity time shows how recently it moved, so a daily pass keyed on the Listing ID catches each cut and each exit. Weekly runs fit designer and category snapshots where exact dates matter less.
