About the Jobsuche of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit
The Jobsuche is the vacancy portal of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Germany's federal employment agency, at arbeitsagentur.de/jobsuche, and the agency presents it as one of the largest Jobbörsen in Germany. It opens on two tabs, Jobs and Ausbildung, and the Jobs tab narrows by Angebotsart: Arbeit, Praktikum/Trainee/Werkstudent for internships and student jobs, and Selbständigkeit. The start page sorts the market by occupational field, from Land-, Forst- und Gartenbau to Reinigung, and links to vacancies per major city, per Bundesland and per working-time model.
The footer of every ad states who handles it - Stelle betreut durch die BA or Stelle betreut durch Arbeitgeber. Ads taken over from a Kooperationspartner name their source in a Quelle line and link to the full description on the partner's site. Vacancies of private recruitment agencies stay hidden until a visitor asks for them, and ads from temporary-work firms and external boards can be switched off.
Because the agency maps every ad to its own occupation names, a Data Analyst post titled three different ways by three employers still lands under the same Berufsbezeichnung. Search results can be sorted by Relevanz, Neueste Veröffentlichung, Zuletzt bearbeitet, Beginn or Entfernung.
