You give us the search scope - outcodes, counties, price bands, sales or lettings, new homes or commercial - and the field list. We build the crawler, run it on your schedule, and repair it when OnTheMarket changes its markup, its search parameters or the layout of a branch page. Much of the listing detail is rendered dynamically and the site rate limits heavy traffic, so we pace the runs and cut a wide search into smaller outcode and price band queries instead of pulling one enormous result set. We take only pages that are publicly visible without signing in.
Output arrives as CSV, JSON, XLSX, straight into your database, or through an API. Plans start from EUR 199.
We build the crawler around the fields you actually need, and OnTheMarket exposes a different set on the sales side than on the lettings side. A typical specification looks like this:
The search result card on OnTheMarket carries only a fraction of what the site publishes. The detail page and the member branch pages hold the rest, and several of the most useful columns have to be derived rather than read straight off:
OnTheMarket is a UK residential property portal built around estate and letting agent membership. Listings are not posted by private sellers - every property on the site is uploaded by a member branch, so each record carries an agent name, branch address and branch phone number alongside the property itself.
The site covers England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, in English, with all prices in pounds sterling. It splits into properties for sale and properties to rent, plus new homes developments and a commercial section. Its best known feature is the arrangement under which member agents can list a property on OnTheMarket ahead of other portals, which is why instructions often appear here first and carry a "New" or "Only with us" flag before they reach the wider market.

Because OnTheMarket is agent-fed and often carries an instruction before it appears elsewhere, a daily feed is an early-warning signal. Agencies use it to see which competitor branch won which instruction and how quickly the listing moved to Sold STC or Let Agreed.
Investors and build-to-rent operators track rent per bedroom by outcode, using the pcm and pw figures normalised to one basis, and watch how quickly stock in a given postcode turns over. Proptech and valuation products use the tenure, EPC band and council tax band fields to enrich their own property records. Mortgage brokers and conveyancers use branch-level volume to size their referral pipeline. Refurbishment firms, inventory clerks and lettings suppliers work from the branch address and phone that sit on every OnTheMarket record to build a call list for a county or a group of outcodes.

Real estate teams work in a fragmented data landscape. The sites that drive demand in Boston look nothing like the ones that matter in Berlin, São Paulo, Dubai, or Mumbai.
Real estate teams are operating in a data environment that is bigger, faster, and more fragmented than ever. Listings go live and disappear in hours, price cuts happen quietly, and the portals that matter most in each country are rarely the same global “top 5.”
Real estate web scraping: a powerful tool for data collection and analysis. Learn how to choose the right data collection method and benefit from real estate web scraping
ScrapeIt is a fully managed web scraping service. You name the sites and the fields; we build the crawlers, run them, maintain them when the target changes, and deliver structured data on the schedule you set. You run no servers and write no code.
We collect publicly available data only, hold a GDPR and CCPA compliant posture, and are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement before any work starts. We do not bypass logins, paywalls or CAPTCHAs.
Yes. They are separate channels with different fields, so we deliver them as two datasets or as one merged file with a channel column and the rent normalised to a single period.
Only where the agent publishes it. Many OnTheMarket listings show just the street, town and outcode, so we return what is public plus the map coordinates.
Yes. OnTheMarket does not show a price timeline on the listing, so we snapshot on every run and diff the runs. That gives you first seen date, each reduction with its date, and days on market.
Daily is the usual choice, because an instruction can appear on OnTheMarket before it reaches other portals and a listing can flip to Sold STC or Let Agreed between runs. Hourly, weekly or one-off runs are also possible.
Yes. Branch name, address, phone, profile URL and live stock counts are all public, and they join to listings by agent reference.
