Charter Flight Data from 12 Danish Tour Operators: a Pilot in 2 Weeks
A paid pilot for a regional airport in Scandinavia: direct charter departures from 12 Danish tour operator sites, sampled in two weeks.
A Primo Tours scraper has to read a price that exists only for one departure, one trip length and one party. We collect each offer with the search that produced it.

You do not install anything. You tell us which destinations matter, which departure months, which trip lengths and which parties - two adults, a family with children of given ages - and we build the crawlers, run them and repair them when primotours.dk changes its pages. Access and anti-bot handling are part of the service.
Because Primo Tours prices a holiday for a chosen date and party, the scope you set is the search grid we run. Every row comes back stamped with the destination, departure date, nights and party it was priced for, so two runs compare like for like. Runs are one-off or on your schedule - daily in the booking season, weekly the rest of the year - and a free project assessment comes first. Field documentation ships with the first delivery.
Primo Tours sells package holidays: a seat on its charter flights from Billund plus a hotel, with Danish trip leaders at the destination. The hotel page and the offer behind it are the two things worth capturing, and the offer links already carry the keys - an offerId, a departureId, the departure date, the period type and the number of adults.
Hotel pages show no guest review scores, so the badges and the view counter are the closest thing to a popularity signal the site offers, and we keep them as separate columns.

A single hotel page shows one offer; the catalogue is wider. Destination pages such as Gran Canaria or Sivota list their hotels with a show-more button, an excursions block and a facts table with temperatures for each part of the season, currency, time difference, tipping and drinking water advice. Theme pages group the same hotels by board, by adults-only, family or apartment hotel, by private pool and waterslides, and by active holidays such as golf, yoga and hiking.
The Afbudsrejser og restpladser section holds the last minute offers and remaining seats. Prices there change constantly, most of all in the days just before departure, so a daily run catches offers that appear and sell out between two weekly checks.
Repeated runs turn the offers into a price history: one row per hotel, departure date, trip length and party per run. That is the Primo Tours price tracker - how far a price falls towards departure, when a savings badge appears, when a departure disappears.
Excursions come with their own fields: the tour, what it covers and whether a Danish trip leader or an English-speaking guide runs it. Bookings, favourites and My ticket sit behind a login and stay out of the dataset.
Primo Tours is a Danish tour operator based in Ringkøbing: it opened its office there in December 2009 and sent its first charter guests south in the summer of 2010. The product is the classic package holiday: charter flights direct from Billund Airport, a hotel from its own programme, and Danish trip leaders on the ground. The site, primotours.dk, is in Danish and prices everything in Danish kroner.
The programme covers six countries. Greece carries most of it - the Chania coast and Loutro on Crete, Rhodes, Kos, and the Ionian coast around Paleros, Sivota, Meganisi and Parga. Spain has Mallorca and Gran Canaria, Turkey has Alanya and Side, Italy has Calabria, Egypt has Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh, and Portugal has Porto Santo, which the site also sells as a golf destination.
The catalogue is organised in two trees. Rejsemål runs from country to region to hotel, and the URL follows it. Rejseformer slices the same hotels by board - All Inclusive, Mini All Inclusive, full board, half board, breakfast or none - by themes such as summer and winter trips, adults-only hotels, child-friendly hotels, flight-only seats and train trips, and by active holidays. The season matters: each destination states the months its trip leaders are present, so summer destinations and winter sun destinations read differently across the year.
Delivery: CSV, JSON or XLSX files, our API or a JSON feed. MCP server on request.
Full plan detailsPrimo Tours data answers questions about the Danish charter market that no hotel booking site answers, because the unit sold is a flight and a hotel together, priced per person for a set party.

For several years, weekly car rental and, more recently, hotel prices from Booking.com for a tourism organization comparing its destination with rivals.

Learn how to use web scraping to solve data problems for your organization
If you work in travel tech, an OTA, a hotel chain, or at an airport, you are in a price-and-availability arms race. Fares change by the hour, room inventory disappears in minutes, and competitors test new bundles and ancillaries constantly.
Leveraging advances in technology, the AI-powered web scraper has skyrocketed in demand and is helping to expand capabilities by automating tedious daily tasks and speeding up data collection from thousands of websites several times over.
Web scraping is a method of obtaining web data by extracting it from pages of web resources with the help of a program, that is, in automatic mode. It is used to syntactically convert web pages into more usable forms.
ScrapeIt is a managed web scraping service. We build, run and maintain the crawlers and deliver the dataset, so your team works with offers, not with page changes. Tour operator sites like Primo Tours are a good fit for us: the price only exists after a destination, a date and a party are chosen, and the work is in covering that grid without gaps. Order a sample for a few hotels first. Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract.

Yes. The ScrapeIt Primo Tours API returns the hotel name, departure date and time, trip length, board type, per-person price and total price as JSON from an endpoint we host, refreshed on the schedule you set. The same offers also arrive as CSV or Excel files, a JSON feed or a load into your database.
Yes. Hotel pages, destination guides, departure dates and per-person prices on primotours.dk are open to every visitor without an account. We collect only publicly available data - everything a visitor can see on Primo Tours - and we collect it legally. Bookings and other personal data are not collected, and anything personal is handled under GDPR.
You give us the destinations, departure window, trip lengths and party compositions you need. We price each combination and store the per-person price and the total next to the search that produced them, so a price is never read without its departure date, nights and party.
Yes. A daily run records the current price, the crossed-out price, the savings badge and the left counter for every departure in scope. Over a season that becomes a price history per hotel and departure date, including the moment an offer moves into the last minute section.
Primo Tours flies from Billund to Greece, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Egypt and Portugal, from Crete and Rhodes to Hurghada and Porto Santo. We can cover every destination page and every hotel under it, or only the countries you compete in, and add new destinations when the programme changes.
You share your needs, expectations, and desired timeframe. We'll suggest the best solution based on your request and budget.
Our specialists configure the crawlers and extract a sample dataset for your review before proceeding with the full-scale extraction.
Once you approve the sample, we launch the project and start full data collection. We gather, filter, and structure the data for easy use, delivering it on time in your preferred format.
Our team manages ongoing processes, monitors website changes, and supports all data extraction cycles. We can also help integrate data into your systems or create dashboards to simplify analysis.
Tell us which sites, which fields and how often. A couple of lines is enough to start.
