This is a managed service: you name the scope, and we build, run and repair the crawlers. On RVing Planet the scope is usually one of three things - the research catalogue of manufacturers, brands and floorplans, the new and used units that dealers list for sale, or both joined on the floorplan. You choose the RV types, manufacturers and states, and whether the run happens once, daily, weekly or on demand.
The site puts a browser check in front of its pages, so anti-bot handling, proxy rotation and rendering are part of the service. We never log in and never submit the Get Best Price or Make Offer forms: a price is collected only where the page prints one. Files arrive as CSV, Excel, JSON or XML with field documentation. Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract.
Every catalogue address on RVing Planet spells out the hierarchy: /mfg- and the manufacturer, then the brand with its RV type, then the floorplan. We keep that path as the key and return one row per floorplan, with dealer units as a second table linked to it.
Specifications differ by RV type - a motorhome page adds chassis, engine and wheelbase rows that a travel trailer page has no use for - so the dataset ships with a field list that says which columns apply to which type.
Two search sections sit above the single page, and they answer different questions. Research New RV Models lists floorplans and filters them by Type, Manufacturer, Brands, Features and Slides. Find RVs for Sale lists dealer inventory and adds Condition, Year and a ZIP code with a radius from 50 miles to Anywhere. Both sort by price, length, weight, year or distance, and every filter value prints its own count, so the filter panel is a supply table in itself: how many floorplans carry the Bunkhouse tag, how many new and how many used units a type has.
The two sections do not share a vocabulary. The catalogue's manufacturer and brand lists are edited; the for-sale filters also hold whatever dealers typed into those fields. Each floorplan page lists units of that floorplan for sale, so we tie an inventory row to its catalogue floorplan wherever the site makes that link, and a count by brand then means the same thing in both tables. Result lists print a Showing counter with the total, which lets each run be reconciled against the number the site itself reports.
The Dealer Finder has a page per state with the RVing Planet Approved dealers in it, and each dealer links to its own inventory. Repeated runs add what one pass cannot: price history per unit, the day a unit first appeared and the day it left, and the Available Now count of each floorplan over time.
RVing Planet - its pages also write the name as one word, RVingPlanet - is a US research and shopping site for recreational vehicles. Its promise is every brand in one place: the home page invites visitors to search and compare thousands of floor plans, and the About page says it serves the RVers of North America. RVing Planet does not sell RVs itself. It lists what manufacturers build and then shows which approved dealerships have a unit.
The catalogue runs three levels deep. A manufacturer page groups that maker's brands by RV type and adds a company profile with the maker's website. A brand page has three tabs - Floorplans, Features and Manu-Facts - and each floorplan card shows its style tags, length, weight, sleeps and the Available Now count. A floorplan page carries the description, the specifications table, reviews, similar floorplans and the list of units for sale with price, stock number and lot location.
RV types go well beyond travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers and motorhomes of classes A, B, B+, C and Super C: the Type filter also lists folding pop-up campers, expandables, truck campers, destination trailers, park models, teardrop trailers, A-frames and fish houses. A visitor can tick Compare on up to four RVs to set specifications and floorplans side by side, and all of it is open without an account.

Learn MoreLearn how to use web scraping to solve data problems for your organization
Leveraging advances in technology, the AI-powered web scraper has skyrocketed in demand and is helping to expand capabilities by automating tedious daily tasks and speeding up data collection from thousands of websites several times over.
Web scraping is a method of obtaining web data by extracting it from pages of web resources with the help of a program, that is, in automatic mode. It is used to syntactically convert web pages into more usable forms.
If you specialize in machine learning, you need to feed large amounts of data to the algorithms. Web scraping is the easiest and the most efficient method of collecting the data from all over the Internet.
ScrapeIt is a managed web scraping agency: clients describe the data they need, and we build the crawlers, run them and deliver the dataset. Vehicle catalogues and dealer inventory sites are a regular part of that work - sources where a specification record and a unit for sale have to be kept apart and then joined.
For RVing Planet that means one table of floorplans, one of units, and a documented key between them. A free project assessment comes first, and a sample can be ordered before you settle on a schedule.
Yes. The ScrapeIt RVing Planet API returns manufacturer, brand, floorplan, style tags, dry weight, sale price and stock number as JSON from an endpoint we host, refreshed on the schedule you set. The same data also comes as CSV or XLSX files, a JSON feed or straight into your database.
Yes. Floorplans, specifications, dealer prices, stock numbers and dealer locations are shown on RVing Planet to every visitor, with no account needed. We collect only publicly available data - everything a visitor can see on RVing Planet - and we collect it legally. We never log in and never submit the price or offer forms, and reviewers' names are left out by default.
Yes. The for-sale search filters by ZIP code and radius, condition, type, manufacturer, brand and year, and the Dealer Finder lists approved dealers state by state. A run can therefore be limited to one state, one dealer group or one type such as fifth wheels, and each unit row carries the dealer's name, city, state, stock number and VIN.
Specifications change with the model year; dealer inventory does not wait for it. Units appear and leave as dealers stock and sell them, a dealer can change the Sale Price of a unit at any time, and the Available Now count of a floorplan moves with every unit listed or sold. A weekly run suits catalogue work, a daily run suits price tracking, and we keep the history per unit.
Yes. The floorplan table holds one row per manufacturer, brand, floorplan and model year with its style tags and specifications. The unit table holds one row per unit for sale, keyed on its RV ID, with stock number, price, condition, dealer and location, and carries the catalogue address of its floorplan wherever the site links the two, so the tables join on a single key. Delivery goes to FTP, SFTP, Amazon S3, Google Drive or e-mail, or into your database.
