Scrape GetInked Without Running a Crawler

GetInked is a directory, so the job is coverage: every shop page under every town, region and country you care about, with no gaps and no studio counted twice. ScrapeIt does this as a done-for-you service. Our engineers write the crawlers, walk the location tree, run the extract once or at the interval you pick, and mend the code when the directory changes its templates.

You choose the countries and the columns; we return one row per shop, with the page address as a stable key. Anti-bot handling - pacing, proxies, rendering - is included. A free project assessment opens the work, a sample is available to order before the full run, and each column is described in the documentation sent with the files. Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract.

GetInked Data: What a Shop Row Contains

A shop page on GetInked follows one template, which makes the directory dependable to collect. Our GetInked scraper reads each block of that template into its own columns and keys the row on the page address under /tattoo-shops/.

  • Identity - shop name, GetInked URL, page title and the breadcrumb: country, region, town.
  • Address - street address, town, county or state, postcode where shown, country, and the coordinates behind the map and the Get directions link.
  • Contact - business phone, the shop's own website, and its Facebook and Instagram profiles.
  • Opening hours - one column per weekday, Monday to Sunday, with Closed kept as a value.
  • Reputation - the Google rating printed beside the stars and the review count next to it.
  • Price level - the four-step scale from $ to $$$$ with its wording, or the note that no level is set.
  • Payment methods - cash only, credit cards, debit cards, contactless.
  • Listing status - Verified Listing or not verified, the Boosted badge, and the Updated stamp with its month and year.
  • Content - the About text, the primary image and the gallery image addresses.

The row describes a business. Artists as individuals, their personal profiles and their own e-mail addresses belong to people, not to the shop, and stay out of the file by default.

GetInked Tattoo Studio Reviews, Location Pages and Price Guides

GetInked Tattoo Studio Reviews, Location Pages and Price Guides

Beyond the shop row, three layers of the directory are worth having.

  • Reviews - under What clients say a shop page prints a handful of recent reviews, most of them marked via Google, each with stars, a date and text. Reviews submitted on the site itself rate service, value for money, location and cleanliness. We deliver text, rating and date, and drop the reviewer's name.
  • Location pages - every country, region and town page states how many studios it lists and their average rating, and ranks a Top 10 by review count. These pages are also how the directory is enumerated: the tree is walked page by page until every shop address is in hand.
  • Price guides - the Tattoo Prices by Location section gives an hourly rate range for each US state, UK region and Canadian province, which pairs with the price level on the shop row.

Piercing Shops is a separate section for studios that offer body piercing, and it can be delivered as a flag on the row. A repeat run each month or quarter shows new shops, removed pages, rating drift and which studios moved from not verified to Verified or Boosted.

About GetInked, the Tattoo Studio Directory

GetInked - the site also writes its name Get Inked - describes itself as the world's tattoo studio directory. It covers seven countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and Ireland, with the United States holding by far the most pages. Its footer keeps three counters: studios listed, cities covered and countries.

The directory is a tree. A country page leads to regions - US states, UK counties, Canadian provinces, Australian states - and a region leads to towns; each level has its own address under /location/ and its own list of tattoo shops. Shop pages sit under /tattoo-shops/ and repeat the same breadcrumb. Cards in a list show the name, address, stars and number of Google reviews.

Studios can claim their page. The site offers four tiers - Free, Verified, Studio Pro and Boosted - and a page says whether it is a Verified Listing or still unclaimed. Around the directory sit a blog, a tattoo price calculator, a pain chart and the price guides; visitors can also browse by style, from Black & Grey and Realism to Japanese and Dotwork.

What a GetInked Dataset Is Used For

A tattoo shop is a small business that buys ink, needles, aftercare, furniture, booking software and insurance, and few registers list such shops in one place. GetInked comes close, which is why its rows get used.

  • Supplier prospecting - shop name, business phone, website and town make a call list for distributors of tattoo supplies and aftercare brands, cut by state or county.
  • Territory planning - tattoo studios per town and region, set against population, show where a market is crowded and where a new studio or a convention would find room.
  • Software and marketing sales - a shop with no website, or one still not verified, is a different lead from a Boosted studio; the listing status and the website column sort them.
  • Reputation benchmarks - Google rating and review count across a city put one studio, or a group of them, in context.
  • Price research - price level by shop and hourly ranges by region give a first map of what tattooing costs from California to Auckland.

Opening hours and coordinates complete the picture for anyone building a map or a local search product.

About ScrapeIt

ScrapeIt gathers data from directories, marketplaces and review sites and hands it over as finished files; building and operating the crawlers stays with us. A niche directory like GetInked is quick to set up and easy to get subtly wrong - one studio filed under a town and again under its county, a rating with no reviews behind it, hours missing for half a region. We deduplicate on the page address, keep empty values empty and describe every column in the field documentation. Our handling of personal data follows GDPR, and lists of private individuals' contacts are not a product we offer.

FAQ

Do you offer a GetInked API for shop data?

Yes. The ScrapeIt GetInked API hands back shop name, address, phone, website, opening hours, Google rating and review count as JSON. We host the endpoint, issue you a key and refresh the rows at the interval you choose. The same rows are also available as a CSV or XLSX file, or delivered to SFTP or Amazon S3.

Is it legal to scrape GetInked?

Yes. Shop pages and location pages on GetInked are open to everyone, and they describe businesses: a studio's address, phone, hours and rating. We collect only publicly available data - the same pages every visitor to the directory reads - and we collect it legally. Reviewers and individual artists are not profiled.

Which countries does the GetInked data cover?

The seven the directory covers: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and Ireland. You can order one country, a set of states or counties, or the whole directory. Every row carries its country, region and town, so the file filters cleanly.

Are the ratings on GetInked the shops' Google ratings?

The score and review count on a shop page are labelled as Google reviews, and the price level is attributed to the shop's Google Business Profile. We deliver them as they stand on GetInked on the day of the run, with the page's Updated stamp alongside, so you can judge how fresh each figure is.

How often should a GetInked extract be refreshed?

Addresses and phone numbers change slowly, so a quarterly run suits most contact lists. Ratings, review counts, verification status and new shop pages move faster, and a monthly run tracks those. Each delivery arrives as CSV, Excel or JSON.
