Scrape AutoTrack With a Managed Crawler

  1. You send

AutoTrack pages, filters, fields and a schedule

  2. We run the scrapers

Built, monitored and repaired by our team

  3. You receive the data

API, JSON feed or CSV, XLSX and JSON files

You choose the slice of the Dutch market - brands, provinces, dealer types, years, fuel, price range - and the cadence; we build the AutoTrack crawler, run it and keep it working when the site changes. Pacing, proxy rotation, rendering and CAPTCHA handling are part of the service rather than your problem.

Rows are keyed on the listing number at the end of each /a/ address, with the kenteken alongside wherever the dealer shows it. Deliveries go out as CSV, Excel, XML or JSON, by FTP, Dropbox, e-mail or our hosted endpoint, each with field documentation. We assess the project at no charge and start with a sample of the provinces or brands you name.

AutoTrack Data Fields per Listing

Every AutoTrack listing lives at /a/ followed by make, model, fuel, year and a numeric listing id, and the page splits its content into tabs such as Overzicht, Opties & Accessoires, Garanties & Zekerheden, Autorapporten, Financieren and Specificaties. Labels are Dutch; we deliver them under English column names.

  • Identitylisting id, URL, make, model, Uitvoering (the version line), the dealer's free-text headline, the number plate (kenteken) when the dealer publishes it, and the listing status.
  • Price and VATprice incl. btw, the BTW verrekenbaar field that marks a VAT-deductible car or a margin car (marge auto), and Nieuwprijs vanaf, the original new price.
  • Historybuild year, mileage, the Kilometerstand gecontroleerd badge, the import flag, date of first admission (Datum eerste toelating), first registration in the Netherlands, and APK geldig tot - the date the Dutch roadworthiness test runs out.
  • Running costsroad tax per quarter (Wegenbelasting), consumption overall, in town and out of town, CO2 output, energy label and emission class.
  • Technicalfuel, transmission and number of gears, power in kW and pk, displacement, cylinders, top speed, acceleration, kerb weight, fuel tank, range, towing weight braked and unbraked, boot volume, wheelbase.
  • Body and colourbody type, doors, seats, vehicle kind, exterior colour, and the interior colour and number of keys where the dealer lists them.
  • AssurancesBOVAG warranty, brand or dealer warranty, the NAP mileage certificate, maintenance booklet, Keurmerk 100% Onderhouden, factory warranty fields, and whether an RDW or AutoWeek report is attached.
  • Equipmentoptions grouped as Veiligheid en Techniek, Verlichting, Interieur en Comfort, Exterieur and Audio/Telefonie, plus the dealer's own extras and description.
  • Dealername, dealer type, street address, postcode, town, phone, dealer score where shown, and the link to the dealer's stock.

For electric cars the search filters add battery capacity and practical electric range, and dealers often put the battery's state of health in the headline.

AutoTrack Listings Beyond the Single Car Page

AutoTrack's search shows its structure in the address: /aanbod/merk/, /carrosserievorm/, /brandstofsoort/, /provincie/, /opties/ and year ranges each open a ready slice, and results come thirty, sixty or ninety to a page, sorted by relevance, price, mileage, build year, newest or distance. The filter panel goes deeper: Aangeboden sinds narrows to cars listed in the last one, three, five or seven days, while Garanties en zekerheden, Autorapporten and Geïmporteerd isolate cars with a NAP certificate, a vehicle report or an import history.

The Status filter is the unusual part. Besides Beschikbaar (available) it offers Verwacht (expected), Gereserveerd (reserved) and Verkocht (sold), so a car does not simply vanish once it is sold. Repeated runs record each move from expected to available to reserved to sold, with the price at every step - a sell-through record per model.

Dealer pages at /autobedrijf/ add the address, dealer type, website, phone, the count of cars in stock, an About text and the Gecheckt door AutoTrack mark, with the full stock list one click away.

AutoTrack is a Dutch car portal where buyers look for used cars - occasions, as the Dutch call them - in the stock of dealers. Private persons cannot advertise on AutoTrack, so the stock comes from businesses: the Aanbieder filter sorts it into Merkendealer, Officiële merkdealer, Erkend reparateur, Onafhankelijk BOVAG autobedrijf and Universeel autobedrijf, and the dealer type is a field on every row. The same Aanbod section also holds campers, vans and other commercial vehicles.

Online since 2000, AutoTrack now belongs to the AutoScout24 group and stays active under its own brand name. Around the listings sit an Autogids of model guides, buying advice from Team AutoTrack, a dealer finder by postcode under Occasions in de buurt, and a free car report, the RDW-Voertuigrapport.

For a data buyer the Dutch context is the point. Prices are quoted including VAT, with a separate flag for cars sold under the margin scheme; the kenteken ties a car to the national register; APK dates and NAP mileage checks are standard selling points; and road tax is shown per quarter. AutoTrack prints all of them on the listing itself.

Why Dealers and Analysts Use AutoTrack

Because every listing carries the same Dutch fields, AutoTrack rows compare cleanly across dealers, regions and months.

  • Stock benchmarkingA dealer sees every competing car within a chosen distance or province - same model, build year and mileage - and where its own asking price sits among them.
  • Sell-through by modelThe Gereserveerd and Verkocht statuses show which cars actually leave the forecourt and at what last price, not only which ones are listed.
  • VAT and margin mixThe split between VAT-deductible and margin cars matters to business buyers and exporters, and here it is a column, not a guess.
  • Used EV valuesBattery capacity, practical range and state-of-health notes in dealer headlines feed valuation models for second-hand electric cars.
  • Dealer profilesDealer type, BOVAG membership, stock size and the share of cars with NAP or a vehicle report describe each dealer in numbers.
  • Running-cost modelsRoad tax per quarter, energy label and consumption make total cost comparisons possible without a second source.

About ScrapeIt

ScrapeIt runs crawlers as a service: we build them, keep them alive and deliver the rows. Dealer portals like AutoTrack have a shape of their own - many sellers, listings that move from expected to sold, and a national register number on the car - and the craft lies in following each listing id through every status. Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract. Either way you choose the rhythm: daily, weekly or on demand.

FAQ

Still unsure? Write to info@scrapeit.io

Do you offer an AutoTrack API for dealer listings?

Yes. Through the ScrapeIt AutoTrack API you query listing id, price, VAT status, mileage, APK date, status and dealer name as JSON on an endpoint we run, refreshed at the interval you pick. Files work too: CSV or XLSX, a JSON feed, or drops to SFTP or Amazon S3.

Is it legal to scrape AutoTrack?

Yes. Listings, specifications, dealer pages and stock lists on AutoTrack are open to any visitor. Our crawlers take only publicly available data - what anyone browsing AutoTrack can see - and we collect it legally. Dealer contact details are business data, and any personal details are handled under GDPR.

Does AutoTrack show sold cars, and can you track them?

Yes. The Status filter keeps Verkocht (sold) cars findable next to Beschikbaar, Verwacht and Gereserveerd ones. We store the status and price of each listing id on every run, so you see the run on which a car turned reserved, the run on which it first showed as sold, and its last asking price.

Which dealers sell on AutoTrack?

The Aanbieder filter sorts every listing into five business types: brand dealers, official brand dealers, recognised repairers, independent BOVAG garages and universal car companies. Each dealer has a page with address, phone, website, stock count and an About text, and we can deliver dealers as a separate table joined to their cars.

How fresh can AutoTrack data be?

As fresh as the schedule you choose. The Aangeboden sinds filter and the Nieuwste aanbod eerst sort isolate cars listed in the last few days, so a daily run picks up new stock and every price change within a day. Weekly runs suit market reports and dealer benchmarks.
