Name the states, areas, property types, price range and cadence, and we build the PropertyPro crawler, operate it and patch it when propertypro.ng changes its layout. The site puts visitors through a bot-check page, so pacing, rotating proxies, CAPTCHA handling and full browser rendering are included - none of it lands on your team.
The PID, the five-character code that closes every listing URL, is the key we keep across runs. Output goes out as CSV, XLSX, JSON or XML, by e-mail, FTP, Dropbox or through our API, as a one-off extract or on a daily or weekly schedule, with documentation for every column.
PropertyPro is written in English and priced in naira, and its cards follow a fixed pattern: title, location, a type line ending FOR RENT, FOR SALE or FOR SHORTLET, a price with its period, the PID, bed and bath counts, tags, the agent and two dates. Each listing becomes one row with these groups:
Agent phone numbers sit behind the call button on each card and the Show button in the agents directory; they are delivered only when your project needs them, and agents trading under a personal name are handled as personal data under GDPR.

Beyond the single listing, PropertyPro publishes layers that make a time series possible.
PropertyPro (propertypro.ng) is a Nigerian property portal run from Victoria Island, Lagos. Its menu reads Buy, Rent, New Project, Shortlet, Services, Agents, Area Guide, Insights and Blogs, and agents add stock through Post Property. A search combines Sale, Rent or Short let with a property type, a naira price range from fifty thousand up to billions and a bedroom count, then sorts by Most Recent, Lowest price, Highest Price or Bed.
Stock is organised by state and area. Lagos and Abuja lead the menus, the state selector on results pages offers Rivers, Ogun, Oyo, Enugu and the rest, and inside Lagos the site goes down to areas such as Lekki, Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Ikeja, and to named estates. Homes for rent are quoted per year, while short let flats in Lekki, Ikoyi and Victoria Island are quoted per day.
The footer links to PropertyPro Kenya, PropertyPro Uganda and PropertyPro Zimbabwe, next to PropertyPro Africa. For data, the defining trait of the Nigerian site is its dating: its cards show when a listing was added and last updated, and let or sold stock stays visible instead of disappearing.
Delivery: CSV, JSON or XLSX files, our API or a JSON feed. MCP server on request.

A daily apartments.com feed for a US apartment locator: about 3,000 buildings from the client's own list, down to each unit's rent and floor plan.
A one-time Housing.com collection for a real-estate company in India: project cards plus every photo and floor plan, uploaded straight to its cloud drive.
Learn how to use web scraping to solve data problems for your organization
Real estate teams work in a fragmented data landscape. The sites that drive demand in Boston look nothing like the ones that matter in Berlin, São Paulo, Dubai, or Mumbai.
Real estate teams are operating in a data environment that is bigger, faster, and more fragmented than ever. Listings go live and disappear in hours, price cuts happen quietly, and the portals that matter most in each country are rarely the same global “top 5.”
Six jobs that scraped property data does, each backed by a ScrapeIt project: seller leads, listing monitoring, image datasets, weekly market supply, sold records and unit-level rentals. For every use case - the fields it needs and how often to refresh them.
ScrapeIt is a data extraction agency: we build and run crawlers for clients who need website data but not the engineering behind it. On African property portals that means handling local units and conventions - naira amounts, yearly rents, toilets counted apart from baths - and keeping identifiers stable between runs. We assess a PropertyPro project free of charge, and you can see a sample of your slice before you order. Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract.

Yes. The ScrapeIt PropertyPro API returns the PID, the naira price with its period, beds, location, agent name and the added and updated dates as JSON from an endpoint we host, refreshed daily, weekly or on demand. You can also take the rows as CSV or Excel files, as a JSON feed or as a direct load into your database. An MCP server is available on request.
Yes. PropertyPro shows prices, locations, bedroom counts, agent names and listing dates to every visitor, signed in or not. We collect only publicly available data - everything a visitor can see on PropertyPro - and we collect it legally. Agents' personal details fall under GDPR, and we do not build dossiers on individual agents or landlords.
Yes. The Nigerian footer links to PropertyPro Kenya, PropertyPro Uganda and PropertyPro Zimbabwe, and each is set up as its own source. Rows keep the country and the local currency, so a regional table never mixes naira with shillings.
Constantly - on many cards the Updated date is the day of the visit, while the Added date can be months earlier. Weekly runs suit rent indices; daily runs suit short lets, price tracking and catching the day a home is marked RENTED!
Each price is split into a naira amount and a period column - year, day, month, or blank when the card gives none. Rents, short-let rates and sale prices can then share one table without a daily rate being read as a yearly rent, and a converted column at a rate you choose can be added.
You share your needs, expectations, and desired timeframe. We'll suggest the best solution based on your request and budget.
Our specialists configure the crawlers and extract a sample dataset for your review before proceeding with the full-scale extraction.
Once you approve the sample, we launch the project and start full data collection. We gather, filter, and structure the data for easy use, delivering it on time in your preferred format.
Our team manages ongoing processes, monitors website changes, and supports all data extraction cycles. We can also help integrate data into your systems or create dashboards to simplify analysis.
Tell us which sites, which fields and how often. A couple of lines is enough to start.
