Scrape Worten as a Managed Service

You tell us what you need from Worten - which country site, which categories, brands or sellers, and how often - and we build the crawler, run it and repair it when a page template changes. Both storefronts put a browser check in front of unfamiliar traffic before a product page is served, so pacing, proxy rotation, rendering and CAPTCHA handling are part of the service, not something you arrange.

A project starts with a free assessment and, if you want one, a sample. Runs are one-off or scheduled: daily for prices, weekly for assortment. Files arrive as CSV, Excel or JSON, through our API or as a load into your database, with field documentation attached. Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract.

Worten Data We Collect from Every Product Page

A Worten scraper has to treat the product page as a list of offers, not as one price. Worten sells from its own stock and hosts Marketplace sellers on the same page, so the record is keyed on the product and repeated for each seller. The address supplies the key: a product lives under /produtos/ on worten.pt and /productos/ on worten.es, and its slug ends in a numeric id - or, for many Marketplace items, in a barcode number.

  • Identity - product URL, the id at the end of the slug, title with the key specifications Worten puts in brackets, brand, and the country site the row came from.
  • Category path - the breadcrumbs from department down to the leaf category, plus the category URL the product was found under.
  • Price - the current price and its currency, the recommended price Worten labels PVPr, and the discount percentage printed against it.
  • Offers - the seller named in the "Vendido por" line, whether that seller also ships the order, the number of other sellers, the price their offers start from, and the full list of Marketplace offers the page links to, each with its seller and price.
  • Seller - shop name, the seller's star rating and number of ratings printed beside it, the Vendedor Premium mark where the page shows it, and the link to the seller's own page.
  • Condition - new, refurbished, or Worten Outlet with its grade: Grade A, Grade B, Grade C or Caixa Aberta (open box).
  • Delivery - home delivery and store pickup as the product page states them, the delivery estimate, and whether Entrega Express applies.
  • Product detail - description, images, the energy class on appliances and the star rating customers gave the product.

Category and search pages carry a shorter version of the same record - title, price and the seller's name - so a crawl can start from the category tree, a brand page or a keyword list. Sponsored placements are tagged Patrocinado on the site, and we keep that tag as a column so paid positions can be told apart from organic ones.

Worten Price Tracker: Sellers, Outlet Grades and Campaigns

Worten Price Tracker: Sellers, Outlet Grades and Campaigns

One page read once tells you who holds the main offer today. Run on a schedule, the same rows become a Worten price tracker: for each product, the price of Worten's own offer, the cheapest Marketplace price, the count of competing sellers and the day the "Vendido por" line changes hands.

  • Seller coverage - listing pages carry a "Vendido por" filter that splits results between Worten and Marketplace sellers, and every seller has a page of its own with its star rating, customer opinions, shipping country and delivery zones. We can crawl by seller as well as by category, which gives a catalogue per shop.
  • Outlet as a separate price line - an Outlet unit is listed as its own product with the grade in its name, so the gap between a new item and its Grade A, Grade B or open-box twin can be followed over time.
  • Campaigns - the promotions section and the campaign landing pages change through the year; we record which products sit in a campaign and at what discount against PVPr.
  • Brand and store pages - brand listings give a share-of-shelf view per category, and each physical Worten shop has a page of its own.

Sellers on Worten are businesses, so their shop names and ratings go into the dataset. People who wrote product opinions are not named in it.

About Worten: worten.pt, worten.es and the Marketplace

Worten is the electronics and home appliance chain of the Portuguese Sonae group, with a network of physical stores behind its online shop. Online it runs as two country sites: worten.pt in Portuguese and worten.es in Spanish. They are separate catalogues with their own prices, sellers and category names - a product path reads /produtos/ in Portugal and /productos/ in Spain - so each one is crawled on its own.

The range left consumer electronics behind long ago. Next to large and small appliances, TVs, phones and computers, the category tree now holds furniture and home textiles, toys, books, sports gear, beauty, garden, DIY and pet supplies. Much of that width comes from the Marketplace: third-party sellers list on the same product pages as Worten, the page names whoever holds the main offer, and the remaining sellers are summarised as a count and a starting price. When Worten itself stocks the item its offer usually sits first, and it is common to see a Marketplace seller priced below it.

Three more layers matter to a data buyer. Worten Outlet sells returned, repaired and ex-display units graded A, B or C, or marked Caixa Aberta. Entrega Express promises home delivery within two hours or collection in a store within fifteen minutes on items Worten sells itself. And Worten Resolve lists repairs, insurance and extended warranties as services next to the goods.

Why Scrape Worten Offers and Sellers

Worten prints three reference points on one page: its own price, the manufacturer's recommended price and the cheapest Marketplace offer. Most uses of the data come from comparing them.

  • Price monitoring in Iberia - brands and competing retailers track Worten prices per product on both country sites and see where the retailer's own offer is undercut on its own page.
  • PVPr checks - manufacturers compare the recommended price with what Worten and each seller actually charge, product by product.
  • Seller mapping - a brand can list every shop offering its products on the Marketplace, with offer prices, and notice a new seller in the week it appears.
  • Main-offer analysis - merchants already selling on Worten watch who holds the "Vendido por" position on their products and at what price it was lost.
  • Refurbished and outlet pricing - recommerce teams read the discount Worten Outlet applies per grade to set their own buy-back and resale prices.
  • Assortment gaps - category managers compare brand counts and price bands per category between Portugal and Spain.

About ScrapeIt

ScrapeIt is a managed web scraping agency: we build the crawlers, run them and deliver the dataset, so nobody on your side maintains code. Retailers that double as marketplaces, like Worten, are a large part of our work - one product, several sellers, prices that move during the day.

We collect what any visitor to worten.pt or worten.es can see, never log in, and handle personal data under GDPR. Tell us the categories and fields you need and we will assess the project for free.

FAQ

Do you offer a Worten API for price and offer data?

Yes. The ScrapeIt Worten API returns product id, title, current price, PVPr, the name in the Vendido por line and the count of other sellers as JSON from an endpoint we host, refreshed on the schedule you set. The same data also comes as CSV or XLSX files, a JSON feed or straight into your database.

Is it legal to scrape Worten?

Yes. Product pages, prices, seller names and ratings on Worten are open to every visitor without an account. We collect only publicly available data - everything a visitor can see on Worten - and we collect it legally. Opinion authors' names are personal data and stay out of the files.

Can you build a Worten price history for my product list?

Yes. Send us product URLs, ids or barcode numbers and we revisit those pages on your schedule, storing Worten's price, PVPr, the cheapest Marketplace offer and the seller count each time. After a few weeks of daily runs you hold a dated price line per product and per seller.

Can you collect Worten reviews and seller ratings?

Yes. For products we deliver the star rating on the one-to-five scale Worten uses. For Marketplace sellers we add the shop name, the average rating, the number of ratings and the opinions on the seller page - stars, date and comment - plus the Vendedor Premium mark. Customers' names are left out.

Do you cover both worten.pt and worten.es?

Yes. The two sites have separate catalogues, prices and sellers, so we crawl each one and stamp every row with its country. Many Marketplace products carry a barcode number in the URL on both sites, which gives a key for joining Portuguese and Spanish offers; Worten's own products are matched on brand and model.
