Nettiauto (nettiauto.com) is a Finnish marketplace for new and used cars, with private sellers and dealers listing side by side. It is part of Alma Media, which bought the Nettix marketplaces, Nettiauto among them, from Otava and describes Nettiauto as Finland's largest car marketplace. Motorcycles, machinery, boats and motorhomes have their own sister sites - Nettimoto, Nettikone, Nettivene and Nettikaravaani - so Nettiauto concentrates on cars and vans.
The site runs in Finnish with an English version under /en/, where Katsastettu reads Inspection date and verified ads carry a Verified mark: the owner's identity has been confirmed and the vehicle details come from Traficom's register. Search pages have a Järjestys (sort) control and a Myyjä (seller) filter, and every result links to a numbered ad page.
Finnish specifics run through the ads: the Katsastettu line from periodic inspection, the VAT-deductible marker that matters to business buyers and the Tax free marker, and the Fiksut kaupat (Smart sales) mark on private ads, where seller and buyer are both identified, the bill of sale is signed digitally and payment runs through the service.
