You define the scope - galaxus.ch alone or with galaxus.de, .at, .fr, .it, .nl and .be, the product types or brands that matter, search terms or a list of product IDs - and how often to look. We build the crawler, run it at that frequency and maintain it through every Galaxus redesign. Product pages sit behind a bot check that answers automated traffic with a CAPTCHA, so pacing, proxy rotation, rendering and CAPTCHA handling are included.
Data arrives as CSV, Excel, JSON or XML, through our API, a JSON feed or a drop to Google Cloud Storage or Dropbox, with documentation for every column. The project starts with a free assessment, and a sample can be ordered first. Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract.
Galaxus names products the way it files them: brand, model, then the variant in brackets - storage, colour, screen size, SIM type, keyboard layout. The address ends in a numeric product ID, which we use as the row key, and the product type (Notebooks, Smartphones) sits in the address and above the name on every card.
Product type and search pages repeat the price, availability, rating count and energy label for each card, so wide assortment runs read listing pages and open product pages only for the fields above.

Galaxus has drawn a price trend graph for its products since 2021, and its own pricing team explains why the line moves: an in-house algorithm reprices items several times a day, with no personalised prices. Our runs store each value with a date and record every offer on the page, including marketplace merchants who set their own prices, so your history shows both lines and the moment the cheapest offer moves from Galaxus to a merchant.
Coverage starts from the product type tree. Each type has its own page with filters - for Notebooks brand, price, memory, SSD capacity, display size and keyboard layout - and lists such as Best selling, Top rated and Latest, and many categories can be sorted by lowest unit price. Refurbished product types run alongside new ones, the Sale category collects limited manufacturer promotions, and Clearance holds stock that is not selling fast enough.
Ratings pages and per-product questions add text for sentiment work; we deliver star rating, text and date and leave reviewer names out. Some sale prices are shown only to signed-in customers, and a dataset carries the price a visitor sees.
Galaxus is the online department store of Digitec Galaxus, the Swiss retailer that also runs Digitec, and it describes its range as pretty much everything: IT and electronics, toys, DIY and garden, beauty, books and fashion. Galaxus sells from its own warehouses - Wohlen, and a newer site in Bülach - and also hosts independent marketplace merchants who sell under their own name. Its own-brand goods, sold under the Galaxus name, sit in the same catalogue.
galaxus.ch runs in German, French, Italian and English, and the brand also runs galaxus.de, galaxus.at, galaxus.fr, galaxus.it, galaxus.nl and galaxus.be with euro prices. Inside each country site everything hangs off product types - Notebook, Smartphone and many more - grouped under sectors such as IT + Multimedia, each type with its own filters, lists and forum.
Galaxus publishes more about its goods than most shops. Next to the price trend graph, product pages show how often products of that brand and type were returned in the last 12 months and how often they needed warranty service within 24 months, figures Galaxus added in 2023. Availability uses a graded set of icons, and the green tick means delivery no later than the second business day after ordering.
Delivery: CSV, JSON or XLSX files, our API or a JSON feed. MCP server on request.

Learn how to use web scraping to solve data problems for your organization
If you sell online, run a marketplace, or advise e-commerce clients, you already know why eBay matters: it’s one of the few places where big retailers compete side by side with thousands of small merchants and private sellers.
E-commerce teams do not just need “some” competitor data anymore. They need a continuous stream of real prices, discounts, stock levels, reviews, and seller behavior from the platforms that actually shape their markets.
Amazon provides valuable information gathered in one place: products, reviews, ratings, exclusive offers, news, etc. So scraping data from Amazon will help solve the problems of the time-consuming process of extracting data from e-commerce.
ScrapeIt runs web data collection as a managed service: we design, run and maintain the crawlers and hand over the datasets. Large multi-category shops with marketplace sellers and several country domains are a regular part of our work, and Galaxus combines all three with four languages on its Swiss domain. We document every column, label each row with site, language and currency, and keep the schedule running while you use the data. Personal data is handled under GDPR.

Yes. The ScrapeIt Galaxus API returns the product ID, product type, brand, price in CHF or EUR, availability level and rating count as JSON from an endpoint we host, updated as often as you need. Alternatively the same columns arrive as XLSX or CSV, via a JSON feed or directly in your database.
Yes. Prices, availability, specifications, ratings, return rates and marketplace offers on Galaxus are shown to every visitor. We take only publicly available data - what any Galaxus visitor sees - and collect it legally.
Yes. Galaxus draws its own price trend graph, but analysis needs dated values you can join to your own data. We record price, offers and availability for each product ID on every run and keep galaxus.ch in CHF apart from galaxus.de, galaxus.at and the other EU sites in EUR, each series labelled with its site and currency.
Yes. When a product shows offers from independent merchants beside the one Galaxus sells, each offer becomes its own row with merchant name, price and availability. That shows when a merchant undercuts Galaxus, and when Galaxus sells out and the cheapest offer moves to the marketplace.
Yes. We collect the star average, rating count, review text and date from the ratings pages, and the return rate, warranty score and warranty case duration from the Returns and Warranty sections. Reviewer names are personal data and stay out by default.
You share your needs, expectations, and desired timeframe. We'll suggest the best solution based on your request and budget.
Our specialists configure the crawlers and extract a sample dataset for your review before proceeding with the full-scale extraction.
Once you approve the sample, we launch the project and start full data collection. We gather, filter, and structure the data for easy use, delivering it on time in your preferred format.
Our team manages ongoing processes, monitors website changes, and supports all data extraction cycles. We can also help integrate data into your systems or create dashboards to simplify analysis.
Tell us which sites, which fields and how often. A couple of lines is enough to start.
