Learn MoreAn idealo product page is a table of merchant offers, each with price, shipping and delivery date. Our idealo scraper delivers that table as rows, for any of the six country sites.

You tell us which idealo sites, categories or product lists matter and how often the offers should be read. We build the extractors, run them and repair them when idealo changes its pages. The site screens automated traffic and loads the rest of a long offer list only on request, so pacing, proxy rotation, CAPTCHA handling and rendering are part of the service, not something you arrange.
Each run returns one row per offer, stamped with the country site, the idealo product id and the update time idealo prints under its own table. Delivery is a file in CSV, Excel or JSON, a JSON feed, a load into your database, or our API - an endpoint we host. A free project assessment comes first, and a sample can be ordered before you commit.
Every idealo product has a numeric id in its address, and under it sits the block the site calls Preisvergleich - the price comparison itself, one line per merchant offer. We keep both levels, the product and each offer, so any price in the dataset can be traced to the shop that posted it.
Category and search listings return the product-level fields - name, key specifications, grade, number of offers and from-price - so a crawl can start from categories, keywords or your own list of product addresses.
idealo shows a price history chart on the product page, with ranges from one month to one year and the lowest, average and highest price of the period, but it draws a single line per product. A price tracker built on repeated runs keeps the whole table each time - every merchant, its price, its shipping and its place in the ranking - so you can see which shop moved, not only that the product's price did.
The second dimension is geography. A block headed Internationale Preise lists the lowest price for the same product on idealo.co.uk, idealo.it, idealo.de, idealo.fr, idealo.at and idealo.es. Behind it the product id is identical on all six domains, while the address around it changes with the language. One id therefore joins six national markets, each with its own merchants and deals.
Category pages add the assortment view: the number of products, sorting by popularity, saving, price or novelty, and filters for price band, manufacturer, product type, availability and release year, each with a product count, plus Bestseller labels and discount badges. Shop profile pages add the merchant view - overall rating, its history over six months and six years, sub-ratings for delivery, ordering and service, address, payment and shipping options, and review texts with the shop's replies. Reviewer nicknames are personal data and are left out by default.
idealo is a price comparison site run by Berlin-based idealo internet GmbH. It sells nothing itself: merchants list their offers, idealo groups them under one product page and passes the shopper on through a Zum Shop button. For a data buyer that means a product page is not a price but a small market - dozens of shops, marketplace sellers and refurbishers quoting the same item at the same moment.
Shopping is one of three sections, next to Flug for flights and the Magazin. The catalogue runs from main categories such as Elektroartikel or Tierbedarf down to product categories with numeric ids and then to product pages with their variants. A Deals section collects discounted products, each with a percentage badge.
The German site is the home market; idealo.at, idealo.co.uk, idealo.fr, idealo.it and idealo.es follow the same structure in their own language. Wish lists (Merkzettel) and price alerts (Preiswecker) are personal features and stay out of scope. Offer tables, shop profiles, test summaries and the price chart are open to every visitor, and that public layer is what idealo scraping covers. We never log in.

Full plan details →Shoppers in Germany open idealo to check whether a price is fair, so its offer tables work as a running record of what online shops charge for the same product - and that record changes through the day.
Shop ratings complete the picture: a cheap offer from a poorly rated shop is not the same competitor as one from a trusted retailer.

If you sell online, run a marketplace, or advise e-commerce clients, you already know why eBay matters: it’s one of the few places where big retailers compete side by side with thousands of small merchants and private sellers.
E-commerce teams do not just need “some” competitor data anymore. They need a continuous stream of real prices, discounts, stock levels, reviews, and seller behavior from the platforms that actually shape their markets.
Amazon provides valuable information gathered in one place: products, reviews, ratings, exclusive offers, news, etc. So scraping data from Amazon will help solve the problems of the time-consuming process of extracting data from e-commerce.
ScrapeIt is a managed web scraping agency: clients describe the data they need, we build and run the crawlers and deliver the dataset. Price comparison sites are a particular kind of source - one page holds many sellers, and their order shifts through the day - so we plan idealo projects around offer-level rows and repeated runs. Personal data is handled under GDPR, and field documentation comes with every dataset.
Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract.
Yes. The ScrapeIt idealo API returns product id, offer title, price, total price with shipping, delivery time, shop name and shop rating as JSON from an endpoint we host, refreshed on the schedule you set. The same data also comes as CSV or XLSX files, a JSON feed or straight into your database.
Yes. Offer tables, shop profiles, test report summaries and the price history chart are shown to every visitor without an account. We collect only publicly available data - everything a visitor can see on idealo - and we collect it legally.
Yes, once runs repeat. idealo's own chart draws one price line per product, over periods from one month to a year; we store every offer on every run, so the history covers each shop's price, shipping and position in the table. Daily runs suit most catalogues, and the schedule is yours to set.
All six: idealo.de, idealo.at, idealo.co.uk, idealo.fr, idealo.it and idealo.es. A product keeps the same numeric id on each of them, so rows from different countries join on that id while merchants, prices and currencies stay separate. You can order one site or any combination.
Offers change through the day as merchants reprice, sell out or adjust shipping, and idealo prints the time of its last update under every offer table. We schedule runs daily, weekly or on demand, and each row carries that timestamp, so you can tell how fresh a price was when it was read.

Step 2 - Configuring Custom Web Crawlers
Our specialists configure the crawlers and extract a sample dataset for your review before proceeding with the full-scale extraction.
Step 3 - Collect and Deliver
Once you approve the sample, we launch the project and start full data collection. We gather, filter, and structure the data for easy use, delivering it on time in your preferred format.
Step 4 - Maintain and Support
Our team manages ongoing processes, monitors website changes, and supports all data extraction cycles. We can also help integrate data into your systems or create dashboards to simplify analysis.
