You set the scope: categories of the Korean site or of the Global shop, a keyword list, a set of Item No. values, a group of mini shops, or the Best Sellers and Super Deal pages. Our engineers write the crawlers, operate them and repair them when Gmarket changes a page. The Korean storefront meets unfamiliar traffic with a bot check, so pacing, proxy rotation, rendering and CAPTCHA handling are part of the service, not something you arrange.
Runs are one-off or scheduled - daily, weekly or on demand. Korean titles and specification values arrive in the original script, with the English title from the Global shop beside them when you want both. Delivery is CSV, Excel, JSON or JSONLines by SFTP, Amazon S3 or Google Drive, through our API, or as a load into your database.
Every listing is anchored on its Item No. - the goodscode that sits in the page address and in the path of its images. One number opens the listing on the Korean site and in the Global shop alike, so it is the key every row carries. From an item page we collect:
Sellers fill in the specification table in Korean, and we keep it verbatim. Representative names and e-mail addresses of individual sellers are personal data and are left out by default.
An item page is one seller's offer. The market view comes from the pages around it.
Repeated runs keyed on Item No. and option turn these pages into a Gmarket price tracker: price history per option, discount depth through the Big Smile Day sale, rank movement, and the day a listing sold out. Item reviews, with photo reviews kept apart from text reviews, can ride on the same schedule.
Gmarket is a South Korean open marketplace: goods are listed, priced and shipped by sellers, and every item page carries a notice that its content was entered by the individual seller. The company grew out of Interpark, spent more than a decade under eBay, passed to Shinsegae Group, and now sits in a joint venture of Shinsegae and Alibaba International alongside AliExpress Korea.
For a data project the point is that Gmarket has two faces. The Korean site at gmarket.co.kr is the full domestic catalogue, in Korean and in won. The Global shop at global.gmarket.co.kr shows listings with an interface in English, Chinese or Korean, English titles, item-page prices converted to US dollars with the won amount in brackets, and a line that says whether the item ships to the selected country. Both are organised by Item No.
The catalogue runs from brand fashion, beauty and K-pop albums to groceries, appliances and computers. Each seller trades through a mini shop (Minishop on the site) and holds a Seller Level such as Power; department stores and large retail groups keep mini shops here next to small traders. Gmarket's own layers sit on top: Star Delivery for next-day items, Smile Cash and Smile Point rewards, coupons and the weekly Super Deal.

How to scrape Gmarket at this level is a question of coverage: listings are sliced by category, keyword and seller, then merged on Item No., and that plan is part of what we deliver.

If you sell online, run a marketplace, or advise e-commerce clients, you already know why eBay matters: it’s one of the few places where big retailers compete side by side with thousands of small merchants and private sellers.
E-commerce teams do not just need “some” competitor data anymore. They need a continuous stream of real prices, discounts, stock levels, reviews, and seller behavior from the platforms that actually shape their markets.
Amazon provides valuable information gathered in one place: products, reviews, ratings, exclusive offers, news, etc. So scraping data from Amazon will help solve the problems of the time-consuming process of extracting data from e-commerce.
ScrapeIt is a managed data collection service. We build, run and maintain crawlers for marketplaces, retailers and classifieds and deliver the result as files or through our API - you do not install or operate anything.
Asian marketplaces such as Gmarket bring work of their own: listings in Korean, many options under one item number, prices in won, and a seller behind every row. Tell us the categories, sellers and fields you need. We assess the project at no charge, and you can order a sample before committing to a full run.
Yes. The ScrapeIt Gmarket API returns Item No., title, original and sale price in won, discount, option rows, seller name and shipping fee as JSON from an endpoint we host, refreshed on the schedule you set. The same rows also go out as CSV or XLSX files, as a JSON feed or as a load into your database.
Yes. Item pages, Best Sellers rankings, Super Deal lists and mini shop catalogues open to any visitor without an account. We collect only publicly available data - everything a visitor can see on Gmarket - and we collect it legally.
Yes. Each item page has an Item Reviews tab where photo reviews and text reviews are counted and listed separately and can be ordered by rank or by date. A review carries an overall mark such as Great, a delivery mark such as Fast, the option bought, the text and the date. Buyer IDs are left out by default; Seller Level and Customer Rating belong to the shop, so they stay in the dataset.
Both. The Korean site gives the original Korean titles and the domestic price in won; the Global shop adds English titles, a US dollar conversion and whether the item ships abroad. Because Item No. is common to the two, we deliver them as one table with a storefront column.
As often as you set. Super Deal offers are replaced weekly, coupons and seller discounts move the sale price in between, and Best Sellers ranks shift with every promotion, so a daily run fits most price work and a sale event deserves an extra pass a day. Plans start from EUR 169 a month, or EUR 199 for a one-time extract.
